Recently, I had an assignment for the Lake Norman magazine a publication by The Charlotte Observer. The story was about how more people are buying timeshares for boats. This is cheaper than owning a boat and a families get the benefits of enjoying the day without the hassles of maintenance and upkeep. I know from growing up on a lake that owning boats can mean lots of time and money to fix. This doesn’t seem like a bad deal; I don’t know how much it was, but it seems to be smart. Here is one of my images from the trip.
